I find Monsanto to be an amoral company so don't use its products. When I did use glyphosate it was always a generic form. As for its being safe, it ha sbeen found in water courses, crops, human bodies and is a likely cause of cancers and birth defects in areas of the world where it is mis-used in too high concentrations and too little protection.
Back to hoeing and cutting out daylight to weaken and kill weeds for us.
Austria has just banned the use of glyphosate everywhere. France has banned it in public places such as parks and roadside plantations in towns and villages.

Everything is a likely cause of cancer. The difference is that nobody has any evidence that glyphosate actually is! And check what the EPA have officially said

I doubt using it in between my paving slabs for weeds that can't be pulled out by the root is doing much harm to anything other than the weeds.

the most important line there is : "where it is mis-used in too high concentrations and too little protection." When they ban tobacco and alcohol then they can look at glyphosate IMHO.
I saw a reporter ask a guy who was representing Glyphosate if he'd drink it. The guy said "no, I'm not stupid", which the reporter twisted into "aha because you secretly know it causes cancer". THAT'S the level of the anti glyphosate movement.
Urine is harmless... You wouldn't drink it though.
Check the various products available with a glyphosate base. The "Super" or "Extra" generally just have a higher percentage of glyphosate than the bog standard version. I have sometimes found it can work out considerably cheaper overall to buy the high strength version and then dilute to match the bog standard version. For example a 500ml bottle of normal strength is £10, the same size bottle of double strength is £15 rather than £20. It doesn't always work out that way so always worth checking.

Good point KT53, thanks. I've actually just bought 5L Clinic Up at 360g/l which seems to be about right. I've used Clinic Ace 360g/l before and that worked well enough.
