    It could be @wild edges - thanks.
    Where it was growing was on a flat piece of ground, so it was in large 'clumps' the way thyme grows, if that makes sense, but it does look very similar

    Here's a pic

    It seems to have rooted, but I'll leave it there until spring before I pot it on. That's a very small pot - couple of inches diameter.

    Sedum album, the white stonecrop. Nice and easy to grow but I'd give it a bit of a thicker top-dress of grit. It wouldn't hurt to fill the pot to the brim with grit really but at least 1cm deep for any sedum.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
