Wheelbarrow Help

I am a recent gardener and need a wheelbarrow to carry tools on a ground.
Found a list of models on the Internet (https://topgardeningtools.com/best-wheelbarrow/ https://topgardeningtools.com/best-wheelbarrow/),
Which one would you recommend to choose?

Hi ... please don’t take offence but could you just confirm that you’re not posting on behalf of a review website ... I’m getting quite suspicious as I get older and wiser 😉

Dovefromabove, perhaps the poster might be better going into different outlets and looking at them and then deciding which would be best for them, instead of going onto one web page. Also age and ability can be a factor on deciding which one to go for along with what it will be used for apart from tools.

The main advice I would give is to go for one with a solid wheel.  Pneumatic tyres are great until you have puncture!

Some of them have wide bars that come down quite low at the back below the bucket part. I had one a bit like that, that was bought as a birthday gift by my OH. I was forever banging my shins on the bottom of it as I pushed it along. It didn't make me feel very grateful for the gift! As KT53 suggests, best to try before you buy.

Go to the local builders Supplies see what they have there.

Don’t buy one with a solid wheel you will regret it a pneumatic one will ride over the terrain with ease ok so you may get a puncture there easy to repair with a cycle puncture repair kit
  • Thanks everyone for the answers.

I just bought one from Wilko - galvanized steel bucket with yellow solid wheel. Very good and east to manoeuvre. £35

Measure any spaces you need to get through, gaps in hedges, paths, gates, etc. A barrow an eighth of an inch wider than a gap you need to get it through is useless.
