What is causing these cut to roses leaves

Something eating my roses leaves and making these cuts. What is it? How to stop it? Checked leaves there is no insects either side.

    Could be leafcutter bees which are harmless so nothing to worry about as long as your rose is otherwise healthy.

    i love to watch them carrying the pieces of leaf back to their nests.

    @Dovefromabove, @Omori, @Obelixx. Thank you. Relieved to know. Good job I didn't go for any spray route. Happy leafcutter bees, happy plant and happy me. Plants otherwise growing and look healthy.

    Good.  Best to avoid spraying if you can as it also gets the good guys who'll eat any pests.
