Have my raspberries got sunburn?

Pete.8Pete.8 Posts: 11,340
During the heat of last sunday I noticed that some parts of the fruits that were facing the sun looked a bit pale and they have since developed these white patches.
Is it sunburn or something else?
Thanks

It's my first time with raspberries and my first crop from them.
There's lots and they're luvly

Yes, that's exactly what it is Pete, known as 'white drupelet disorder'.

Thanks Bob, there aren't many affected but good to know it's nothing untoward

I had it on blackberries one hot year - they still made great crumbles! :)
