  Am I cultivating a big weed or is this a flowering shrub, planted an unknown small plant from a pot I had 3 years ago it has never flowered.

  They grow REALLY fast. I'd get it out as soon as you can.

  And they seed all over the place ... great if you have several acres as they’re good for wildlife but .... not in a ‘garden’!!!
