    Thanks Lyn and Dave. The problem here in France is that our garden centers are really just diy stores with no knowledge or gardening stores where you are expected to buy everything in full flower and just replace (it’s amazed me how they treat most plants as annuals as the internet generation are more interested in the instagram photo than the actual gardening).

    ive cut back the flower stems and the worst of the leaves. Moved into my « dieback corner » which is where the Lillie’s live most of the time as they too look so sad after the few weeks of wonderful flowers! I’ll give it a nice feed and time.
    Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

    I don’t think it should be fed now, it’s going to sleep, feed early spring when you see new shoots coming up.

    If you are desperate for delphiniums look out for the smaller growing varieties. They will be much happier in a pot.

    Ok lyn just rest then. It did say that it should only reach 1meter which I assumed was a smaller variety than I’m used to in the UK.
