Radicchio Leonardo
in Fruit & veg
Hi there, I'm completely new to gardening so please forgive the following extremely ignorant question.
I've planted several 'radicchio leonardo' and they've grown well. Could someone please clarify for me whether this is in fact a lettuce to be eaten as a salad, or is it actually radicchio (as in chicory) to be grilled, for instance. At this stage the plant looks like the former would apply.
Many thanks,
M

It’s not a variety of radicchio that I grow, but from what I’ve been able to find online it’s a salad leaf type rather than a chicory for forcing.

Hope that helps 😊
