ID on perennial plant

Hi, does anybody know the name of this plant?

    It’s a Figwort ... I think it’s  Scrophularia nodosa, the Common figwort
     
    the only other plant it could be is the  Water figwort which has pairs of leaflets on the leaf stems and the main stem has ‘wings’ along the ‘corners’ of the square stems. Have a look at the link and take a look at your plant to confirm. 

    It’s strangely beautiful and is one of the first wild plants I learned to identify as a child on school nature rambles. I’m very fond of it 😊

    Thank you so much, it looks like you're right. I was completely stuck as to what to do as it has completely flopped down in the center, the wooded area may suit it better. 🙂

    Yes it isn't the most popular plant around but is a nice one, when staked in time.

    I keep meaning to grow some of these but I've got plenty of the nodosa to please the various insects that eat it
