We're using Jackson's Venetian panels on a big housing estate, it looks very good quality, and the slotted Jakposts are quite nifty. With the full capping rail and gravel board it has an impressive solid look.

The only negative point, and it's common to all panel systems really, is it's tricky to install on a slope.

I don’t have a slope problem luckily myself. I’m looking to install the acoustic fence along the side of my property which runs parallel alongside a busy road in the town I’m situated in. I have a stone wall running around the side and front of my house. The top of this stone wall is my ground level, therefore I’m elevated up from the road. There is hedging of mixed species growing on top of this stone wall along the side which I’m hoping to keep and have the fence erected behind it.
  • OH says Jackson's did suggest we talked to a sound engineer and he consulted one over the phone.
