Hydrangea not flowering

    Thank you so much for your replies.  I live in Scotland so you could call it dampish ha ha!  I think I will try leaving them without taking any dead wood off like I have done in the hope that will help in will also water them copiously.   Fingers crossed for some blooms.

    @spars49...re your dark leaved Hydrangea, I bought two, in flower, two years ago. One of them didn't flower last year but has flower heads this year.  No sign of flowers on the other one.
    No shortage of water as I'm on the damp west coast.

    Joyce21 im just finding it really frustration as everything else in my garden is doing so  well
