Caterpillars

Please can anyone tell me what these caterpillars are they have stripped my Solomon Seal plant overnight!

    Sorry can't help you, just wanted to say I have the same problem. Hopefully someone will know what can be don't to get rid of them.

    Wow that’s impressive work!  

    Sorry i can’t help but I hope the6 at least turn into lovely butterflies to make up for it!

    Unfortunately there's a sawfly which attacks S.Seal. That's what those are.

    The plant will be fine, but look out for the signs next year and pick them off. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
