I have 2 plants that I can't identify, can any one help? The first is the yellow one in the photo, it sits on a long thin stem with lily-like leaves. The blue one (i thought it was a pincushion but it ain't. Can anyone help?

I think the purple one is Prunella vulgaris, possibly a garden variety

Spot on, thanks. I did grow some prunella which I dotted around the garden earlier. Well done. The yellow one is a mystery. Gerald
