Why is my lawn cover in fine webs?

    Spiders? The webs look wonderful on a dewy morning ... @Fairygirl and her friends use them as trampolines 😉

    @Dovefromabove thanks Dove, can't say I have seen quite so many before, any ideas why now? weather?condition of lawn?

    I usually see them in late summer/early autumn but this year lots of things are happening ‘out of sequence’. 

    There are some problems that can cause the appearance of webs on the lawn but unless the lawn has other problems appearing I wouldn’t be concerned. 

    Lots of little spiders means lots of food for the birds 😊
