Growing in great numbers in one of the wild flower patches - what is it, should it go or should it stay and is it of any benefit to wildlife?

    It looks like Fat Hen, Chenopodium Album, not a plant I want to see on my patch.

    It's one I like to see on mine, but mine is a wildlife garden. Wild birds eat the seed if my neighbour doesn't take it for his birds

    It's definitely one or the other with Fat Hen!  :)  Causes mayhem in a veg plot but perfect for wildlife.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Thank you everyone, so Fat Hen it is.  I have removed a few stalks however there is plenty left for the birds and I imagine it could overpower the plot if I let it.
    Our veg plot has almost been taken over by common wild Poppies as well as hand sown Marigolds and Nasturtiam, all for the benefit of deterring aphids etc.
