We recently moved into a new home and have this bush growing in the garden. Does anyone know what it is?

    That’s Hypericum ... think it’s Hypericum calcinum ... ‘Rose of Sharon’.

    They spread in my garden if I don’t cut back hard. The birds seem to drop the black /red berries

    Mine is taking over slightly too. How and when do you suggest pruning?
