hello, my mum has had this plant for over 30 years, she was a florist and never knew what it was, she called it Fred, it would be lovely if someone could identity it.

Hi, it could be a streptocarpus - there are hundreds of varieties. (does it flower?)

It’s a plectranthus verticillatus aka ‘Swedish Ivy’ ... great foliage houseplants ... strike easily from cuttings in water.
I had one for years 😊
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
