Can anyone identify this flower

This is a flower that my wife planted in our garden many years ago and we’ve forgotten the name of it can somebody please help

I think it's a potentilla (the herbaceous kind). Possibly the variety "Miss Willmott".
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Certainly a Potentilla, not sure which.
