Carrots aren't forming - possibly overcrowded. Help?
in Fruit & veg
My carrot plants are doing very well, but a dig in soil reveals there's no actual carrot at the bottom. I've had a look twice in the past few weeks and am not really seeing a change. I read online that one possible cause is overcrowding, and I think they may be. These are pretty mature, bushy plants, so my question is, will thinning them help at this point, or should I pull them and start again?
