The Lonicera is great for creating very crisp topiary. This is Baggesons gold.

@KeenOnGreen that looks great. how often do  you trim?
I keep meaning to get a couple of different ones like @Fairygirl is your emerald one as fast as normal too? Just wondered if they are slower than the usual green one.

I find it grows faster than box but if you are always pottering and have time, keeping lonicera tidy is not a chore, I find it therapeutic.

We trim twice a year and it’s very forgiving if you are a bit keen with the shears. I would imagine that the green and gold varieties grow at the same rate.  Location, soil, watering, etc are more likely to impact growth.  We don’t water or feed it. We have just discarded all of our Box, due to Caterpillar, and will replace some with Lonicera.

Yes - they make great topiary subjects, and don't suffer from pests and  diseases like box, as KOGreen says. Grows quite quickly though, so you would need to trim more often.
The bright green one I have is a quick grower here. It layers readily, and I've used pieces to install a bit of hedge along part of my boundary.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
