Good combination and another not quite so!

I have a bed in the centre of my garden which has always been a bit 'difficult'.
This year one end looks quite good but the other end not quite so.
One of the 'joys' of gardening is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't!!

Quite good!

    It’s all good, @madpenguin! It just needs to mature a bit. Maybe add another grass or two... or Gaura Siskiyou Pink?

    Hopefully the Ceratostigma will get bigger to fill the gap.The one there now was only planted last year to replace one that died after several years.The area around the shrub has Tete-a-tete daffodils in the spring so looks quite good then.
    I have Tulbaghia violacea to the left.I divided it last spring but with the heat last year it never got going.Hoping for better this year.
