Blue tits or sparrows?

Over the last couple of years we now have two flocks of sparrows - one out the front of our house and one out the back.  Since they've moved in, I havent seen more than the odd blue tit. Yet they used to be the most common bird in my garden.
Are they unable to co-exist? Why did the blue tits move out?
In London. Keen but lazy.

    We are seeing fewer of both this spring. Last year they brought the young onto the terrace to teach them to open nuts. This spring they are rare and not seen the babies at all. I have noticed however that we have a lot more insects so perhaps they are feasting on those instead.
    Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

    I have both and they seem to coexist ok so perhaps it's just a coincidence?

    We also have lots of both ... the back garden is like a kindergarten at the moment ... and they all seem happy together 😊 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Similar here along with dunnocks, chaffinches, great tits and coal tits.

    We have loads of both too. Sparrow city round here  :D
    Blue and great tits in abundance at the feeders as they have youngsters. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
