Fuchsia gall mite

hi, I think my fuchsia has gall mite. I have been cutting out the infected areas for 2 years now and it’s just as bad as ever. Should I give up and dispose of this plant?

If it keeps returning, and has affected a large portion of your plant, then there is no point in keeping it. The winter weather has not been cold enough to kill the plant back. It then lingers on and it's carried over for the next year. I would remove it. You could always buy another replacement.
