Purple flower - is it perennial?
I think it begins with S but for the life of me can’t find anything online. Fairly common as it was bought at Homebase.
Flowers disappeared weeks ago, they’re only seed heads (dozens of em) so it’s either the compost, or somewhere hidden until next year.

”Once the flowers have faded, trim the plants back to 10-15cm above the compost and allow the plants to grow back for a second flush of flowers later in the year.” - Suttons.
So I’ll trim and move to the side of the border 👍
