Helenium Turning Brown

I recently purchased two new varieties of helenium from a local garden center.  One is doing fine as are all my older ones, but one is turning brown from the bottom up and I’m afraid it will die.  It’s not too much water so I’m hoping someone has seen this and can tell me how to treat it.  If it completely turns brown, will it come back?  Thanks for any help.

Try to post a photo. Helps to know what stage of growth it is at right now. Sometimes, mature plants can have brown looking leaves near the base.

Mine is the same. It looks really unsightly. Earlier this week I noticed they had dropped from the heat so I watered it hard  it’s recovered but the leaves are getting worse. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

They aren't good plants for pots.
How are yours planted @kmpaumen? Ground or pots? In any case, they'll need plenty of water until established, especially if you're having very hot, dry weather.
It is normal for plants to have foliage dying back lower down too, as @Borderline says though. In a border, you would always want other planting in front of them to help disguise any ropey looking foliage.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
