    The only catch to doing that is that the weed killer will travel back to the parent tree ... that may or may not be what you want ... if it’s in someone else’s garden that may cause more problems ...

    Thanks everyone for your help, think I’ll dig up a few metres of turf tomorrow and try and rip them up. Have a little puppy so weed killer is a no-no at the moment.

    She is gorgeous. What breed is she? and have you named her yet? My daughter has a dog that will stay that size because he is a dachshund/chihuahua. She called him Rupert, so cute and loving.
