Could be leptospermum.

It has an ericaceous look about it, but I'm afraid that's as far as I can get. Is it wild, or in a garden? Could we see a picture of the whole plant in situ?

Definitely a Leptospernum, sorry about the spelling
not totally hardy.

Thankyou all for your replies. After your answers I googled leptospermum and that looks pretty much like it.So once again, thanks a lot.
