Hi can anyone identify this Plant please

    Fox and cubs? Can spread like wildfire, I understand.
  • Many thanks Fire for the info...it was in my lawn two years ago so I potted up because I liked the colour, but I do think it does need to be controlled somewhat?

    It's one of the few plants that i dig out of my lawn. Lovely flowers though.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • Thanks B3..they are a lovely flower...i do dead head before they go to seed though...are they too much trouble to keep or discard...I have not noticed any insects being attracted to them?

    Fine in a pot as it spreads by runners on or near the surface.  They seed profusely though, so best to dead-head them before the mini-dandelion-like seedheads form.

    I agree with @Hostafan1, it's definitely a hosta.
  • Yes there are Hosta's in the background I actually have 8 in there, but its not the plant in question, but thank you for the comments.
