Grass weed

Hi, I have a lot of this fern type weed in my grass, it seems to have long thick roots that make it difficult to pull without doing damage to the soil and grass, any idea on how to treat this?

    Yarrow ... a member of the achillea family ... we get it here too ... lawn weedkillers don’t really work as it has such fine leaves.
    We use an electric lawn rake twice a year  (spring and autumn) and mow regularly on a medium height ... that seems to keep it under control ... cutting the lawn too short seems to encourage it 😂 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Have lots of this in my lawn too. The grass is struggling to grow through it even after a feed. Maybe will let it grow a bit longer before cutting next time
