Mind you @Lyn I bet a lot of the blurry photos come from tablets...why people use them to take plant close ups is puzzling. Trying to keep stable a 9+ inch screen while trying to use its substandard camera...is definitely not easy or logical.
Taking photos on tablets is the easiest thing, you only need to tap on the screen, right on the subject.
Given the number of really poorly focused photos, I reckon some don't find it easy, lol. ( yours are always lovely and clear @Lyn )
Phones/pads are great for the times when you don't have your camera - but around home my camera's always available anyway (and it's normally with me if I'm out somewhere 'special'). And a big frustration for me - when you're at 'dos' now, you can't take a decent photos without getting someone in the shot holding their phone in the air above their head trying to get their shot.
And in the mode of '...and we used to live in a shoebox in the middle of a motorway...', I only use my phone for emergencies. I hate this 'modern' concept of being contactable and visible 24x7. No, I don't want a phone call while I'm walking on the hills or doing my shopping or.... and don't get me started on selfies - with pouty lips or tongues out...Noooooooooooooooo
My phone camera is a bit rubbish, especially in comparison to my 'proper' camera. But that's not a universal fact - many are excellent now. And in fact my phone camera copes with certain lighting conditions better than the proper one, strangely. I've got used to using the best one for the job at hand, where possible.
But whilst I have my phone with me almost all the time, I would be quite happy if the actual phone bit didn't work. I hate taking / making phone calls - give me text communication every time . I just have it on silent so I'm not disturbed unless I want to be, and almost never answer it if it rings (ie: I see it ringing )

Ditto. I remember a letter in The Times suggesting a name for pole with a camera attached to enable self portraits should be a " Narcosis stick" I saw an article online last week about a young woman who had " 30,000 photos on my phone and they're all selfies"

Quite a lot of people hold their tablets up to do the same, even videoing! That is surely the definition of thoughtlessless.

I do have a camera but can’t be bothered to put them on my iPad
Don't get me started on the 'my phone does everything' nonsense.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
