Must show off my Peter Beales standard rose, Bonica, it has been there for about 5 years, I do cut it bad pretty hard each year,

    Show off! Why wouldn't you it looks lovely and a very nice shape.

    Beautiful...  Bonica is one of the best roses of any type.. and can be grown as you have it, or as a shrub, and even a climber on a wall or high fence...  needs no spraying, and blooms all summer... only a light fresh scent, but a truly great rose... I'm delighted you have it...

    thank you. I love it, have to get a strong stake for it and also there is a turned up hanging basket under it for start off support,
