Alba Semiplena?

This rose was supposed to be an Alba Semiplena but the flowers look different to what I expected. Is that just natural variation or is this something else. Alba Maxima?

    ...yes, alba 'Maxima'...   these two roses sport back and forth so you will likely get some Semi-Plena blooms at some point...   no one is absolutely sure which came first...

    It wasn't what I expected, but it does smell wonderful. And now I have an excuse to get a semiplena for somewhere else.
