    That one died In an early spring frost,  I find they are better self seeded, they don’t like being transplanted and will put down deeper roots if left.  The only thing is they’ll pop up everywhere and I have to leave them in case some die in the winter. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    I tried them one year from seed - grew well the first year but couldn't get them through a Scottish winter!

    Mine in London took 3 years to flower but one is now flowering at 8ft high and looks amazing. The other  one has branched into 5 branches and is only about 5 foot tall but still lokks wonderful.
