Best way to support hydrangea heads

Hi everyone, anyone got any bright ideas on how to support the very heavy heads of my hydreingas. The recent rainy weather is not helping as the heads are wet all the time. Something inexpensive and discreet which can fit in the pots would be brilliant. (Sorry if my spelling is off the i pad wants to replace with some really weird words!)

Our group found the rods fairly easily online. I'm not sure where, as we bought as a group. I find they can take no weight at all as they just tip forward; they are no replacement for plant supports. But they are good for holding up flowers.
