Will leave it where it is for the moment. I don't really have a south facing wall. (Just a wire fence at the bottom of the garden, recently replaced by the local school and bare of any plants.I plan to my tomatoes there this year though!)
HI REMF33, Both of mine are yet to leaf this year - although there are lots of buds :-). I guess you have a warmer garden that has lulled it into growth, and then the frost has bitten. Note that the plant seems to hail from the likes of Siberia, so I suspect it naturally hunkers down over winter and early spring. Keep us posted. Kind regards.
Thanks. I am keeping an eye on it. It has been warm enough to sit out in a t-shirt and bare legs for the last 10 days. I think all sorts of things - flora and fauna - have been tricked into making an appearance.
