Trachelospermum jasminodes (climbing star jasmine)

I am looking for some help as a hopeless gardening novice. 
My climbing jasmine looks like this.....
Last year it was beautiful, this year it’s not happy. What can I do to restore it to its former beauty?

    Your plant needs a larger size pot. Remember it is a woody climber, so need space for its roots. It's struggling to put on growth in that pot. Make sure you plant them in a loam-based compost like John Innes No 2 with added grit. Help the plant to grow up against a wall/trellis etc. If you don't do that, the plant will grow into a dense tangle.

    Finally, make sure the pot is watered generously, especially through the summer months.
