    Philadelphus,  though I could not say which one. It looks gorgeous and blackfly free,?

    Its a massive 8-10 foot bush that comes alive in summer and its my neighbours.. we both thought it was some variety of a jasmine as it smells very much like one!

    It's common name is mock orange because it smells like orange blossom.

    It can be pruned back once flowering is over and thus kept to a size that suits you.  This will help - https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?PID=197 Scroll down to the bit on pruning deciduous shrubs (group 2).
