Thanks Fire - interesting if a bit depressing.
All 'Notably Low' round these parts - but I imagine yesterday must have helped, not seen rain so heavy in a long time.
Looks like it going to warm up next week too - about time!, but not too hot please

May and March were very dry nationally. I think the recent downpours should help the reservoirs. A lot of it would run off the hard ground or evaporate, at this time of year.

Wishing I had numerous water butts in which to catch it all now...only have one 150l one in the front grader that filled up ages ago. Imagine how much water we could save on when it gets hotter again....

@Fire Thanks for this very interesting, ground water notably low here too.  I would not have been surprised if it was exceptionally low, still recovered a bit now at last.

The South East seems to always be on a knife edge. And the waterways suffer so much.

I have 7 water butts 220 lts each which were almost empty they are all full now which is great but the first one is now overflowing. At long last it has stopped the heavy rain although we did have a light show earlier but the sky remains dark :#

We have a rain water harvesting tank built in under our roof terrace (12000lt) and it's still showing low warning up until this morning we have only had 38mm of rain since March  :/ and water buts on the balcony's are empty to.
