Hi All

Is something wrong with our tree?? Never seen this happened before. Normally it becomes nice green during these month. Please need some advice to cure it..

I think it’s dying ... probably the result of last year’s high temperatures and drought followed by the dry winter and spring. There’s several about here just like that.

I’m sorry but I’m afraid there’s nothing to be done ☹️

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Dove's confirmation looks and sounds about right ; assuming it's a mature Picea abies , these originate from areas with up to 4m of rainfall per year .
Last years weather would have been the final hammer-blow to a fine looking tree .
  • Thanks for the quick response ... My favourite tree and very disappointed to see it going  :(
