    Has it a nice smell , Blooms are to high to tell

    Just right for elderflower cordial🙂

    Smells wonderful ... keeps flies away from horses heads ... and it’s fantastic for using in gooseberry jam and compote ... and elderflower fritters... not to mention elderflower champagne of course ... but leave enough do that you have enough fruit for elderberry wine ... and plenty for the birds of course. 

    Also there’s lots of folklore around the elder 😊
