Local to me too Marc and the Good Food show is smashing too lots of free samples and good ideas, my OH is a chef so if he comes with me he is a happy bunny but going with daughter this year so I can concentrate on the plants.
We will be going to a talk by Monty at the show about wildlife gardening so looking forward to that.

Went last year for the second time and didn't enjoy it, found it loud and commercial.  Prefer Malvern it's a much better show. That said, I hope everyone who is going has a good time.

I love Malvern too but OH has his birthday then so we are often away.

Carol klein is doing a book signing but I'm hoping monty does one but unfortunately I've not seen one advertised. I'd love to meet him

Monty is book signing Thursday and Friday at 11:15.

Thought about going, but went to Chatsworth Flower Show last weekend and I am not sure my feet could cope with Gardeners's World and Good Food! :)

I got really close to Monty some years ago (have a photo somewhere, have to see if l can find it). Unusually for me (!),  l came over all tongue tied, others were asking him questions but l found l couldn't say a word, just stared at him (poor man !).
I found it so strange that here was someone l watched on TV every Friday night right in front of me,  and my brain couldn't cope !
I think I may have been a little star struck too Annie 😁

    It was really weird !
l thought, "Yes if he speaks to me l can come out with something witty and intelligent ". Then l clapped eyes on him and fortunately for both of us the situation didn't arise......

I still cringe at the thought of the banal drivel I came out with when I bumped into Christopher Lloyd at Great Dixter. The required decisive wit was horribly absent.

🤣 I'm going to email him with a question I have. Even that is making me slightly nervous!

To be fair though, l think Christopher Lloyd could be very intimidating.....
