Carnations

Anyone know why my carnations are growing along the ground and not upright? Plenty of flowers though!

    They can get a bit lax if there isn't anything to support them, especially if growing conditions have caused them to shoot up quickly. Weather also has an influence. Once they harden up a bit, they should be ok.
    Unless it's being caused by something lying on them - birds, wildlife etc.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
