Cordyline suggestions

Hello I'm new here. Im looking for some advice on what to do with my failing cordyline. I moved it a few months ago and I've obviously upset it. I was thinking of putting it in a large pot and trimming the dead leaves. What would everyone else do? Thank you

Thanks Robiwan. What's the best feed to use please? I've been lucky with everything else in my garden

My cordy looked the same cut dead leaves off fed with growmore and looks great now and cutting leaves will reveal the nice trunk  :)

robiwan is correct ; starting at the base and sharply tugging the leaves downwards will reveal a whitish pithy trunk .
This soon hardens up to a pleasant pale brown colour .
  • thank you. I will get straight onto it in the morning. My other one is very happy and has been very low maintenance.
