Plant identification

Hi all I’m new to this forum. Could you please help me identify this plant in my garden? It’s a shrub with maple shaped leaves and a purple flower. Pics attached.

    Malva sylvestris (Common mallow) I think.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Mallow family. Could be  a tree mallow.
