Can my Tithonia's go out yet?

I have a few trays of Tithonia plants that are I have grown from seed and are doing really well. They are currently in my cold frame so are adjusted to being outside.
My question is do you think I should plant these into the garden yet or do you think that they are too small and will and irresistible meal for all of the slugs and snails.

I would plant them out. They should be fine but keep an eye on the slugs.

I'm growing these for the first time. The terrible weather were having seems to have checked their growth. Hopefully we'll get some hot weather soon or they're going to end up being rather underwhelming....

I grew them last year for the first time and they were a max of 18 inches high and totally not worth the bother.

I have planted them out and so far the slugs haven’t eaten them but as you say sunshine is needed!

I have grown them several times before and they have always been worth the bother. They are a great shot of colour all the way until the frosts. Unfortunately it seems that were not great for you but I wouldn’t dissuade anyone else from giving them a go
