Can anyone help me with my acer.
I have had it for 10 years or more. Usually grows leafage well every year, but this year she looks so unhappy. Dry leaves, little bit of wind burn, a lot less leaves than usual.
I removed the top 3 inches of soil and replaced it with fresh, bone meal and feed, but she still isn't happy.

It's not uncommon when weather is a bit hit and miss, but it can also be caused by very dry conditions the previous year which most places experienced. When they're in pots, it's difficult to keep them really well hydrated too.
It should recover though. If you can move it somewhere sheltered and with some shade, it'll cope better with any long dry spells, especially if you live in a drier area.
I know many areas in the SEast still haven't had a lot of rain, which makes it more tricky if you live there. Nothing beats plenty of water form the sky for them  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I've moved it back into the shade and out of the wind. Given her a little feed too as it's been 2 weeks since last  feed.  Fingers crossed she Picks up 😀
