I have three as well (Suttons?!) They only just arrived so in little pots. Not grown before, but have read around about them a fair bit. I am interested to see what anyone else says. I hope it's not yet another case of a James Wong recommendation not really working in the UK... (I am sure they will survive, but will they fruit?)

I got mine from Suttons I think, said look on their web site for planting instructions, (why couldnt they just add them to the packaging, as normal!!) it just siad they were climbers, not muich else, how deep to plant, how far apart, etc, the basics.  I didnt get the idea from James Wong, it was Garden News weekly, I grew marketmore cucs last year, very good harvest, have tried cucamelons, zero germination, Hubby hates salad especially cucs, so even small ones are too big for me alone.  Watch this space eh!  Am going to put them up a wooden obelix Hubby made me for runner beans, defo says they are happy in this country

So I can expect the garden to be overun with Incas, then, well,Hubby has planted them up one of the obelixs he made, 3 one side, runner beans on the other 3 sides, lets see what happens, surprisingly, the slugs havent gone near them
