I have heard that people use a vacuum cleaner instead of a lawn mower.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

A question for assistance for a product that’s in a garden seems completely reasonable. A garden is a different thing to different people for different reasons. No different to people asking any hard landscaping related question.

Indeed because it’s no different to you asking questions about lighting or decking stain.

I think you either use a vacuum cleaner for debris like leaves or twigs and a hosepipe for a general clean but I don't know for certain. Not sure if water would wash out all the sand mixture which I gather is laid underneath.

We just brush ours with a stiff brush. You can hire machines to bring the pile back up. We haven't bothered but a friend of ours has and she highly recommends it. It hasn't needed cleaning, the rain tends to keep it clean. But I suppose if I needed to I would just "mop" it with an all purpose cleaner. Again, not done it so don't know if that's right.
  • Thanks for the tips. I have a 3 tiered garden allowing one to be artificially turfed for grand children and pets the others for shrubbery, landscaping and natural lawns 👍

Sounds lovely. Artificial grass is ideal for kids to play on all year round without the fear of lawns being destroyed. Let us know if you do find anything else that works, would be handy to know 😊
