New Polymonium? Excited??

Over the last two years I have literally been playing in my garden. Using a paint brush to self fertilise all my favourite plants to expand as cheaply as possible.

This year has seen my new seedlings flower off many plants but one of which I am trying to not get too excited about... but

This Jacobs Ladder I have nurtured has differences I cannot find anywhere on the internet and is striking!!

1) has the most delicious scent. It’s almost a floral bubblegum scent and reminds me of a Jasmin mixed with allium purple sensation scent.

2) it is very tall, the flowering stem is 1 mtr high.

3) the flower is a pure white with a striking purple inner circle with yellow stamens.

Please may I ask, have I stumbled upon a new cultivar or have I simply concocted a known mutation from an existing mother plant?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Can anyone advise? I have emailed the current National Collection people too.
