mickey mouse lady bug

spotted an interesting ladybug I haven't seen before. Seen red, orange, yellow, 2 spot, 4 spot, more spots, but this one I haven't seen before. I am sure there is a proper name for it but I am calling it mickey mouse.

  • it is actually just a fairly unusual colour form of the common 2-spot ladybird.

It could be the f. conspicua varient of the harlequin ladybird.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

You must have been very taken with it, you’ve posted 5 photos of it!
